Hoisin sauce is very commonly used in Chinese cooking as a glaze on meats or marinade tofu, stir fries, in a stew and as a dipping sauce. Always use alongside with light and dark soy sauce. Try this in your next stir fry with 1 tbsp Hoisin sauce, 2tsp light soy sauce, 1tsp dark soy sauce, 2tsp sesame oil. This combination completes a delicious Chinese flavour.
