This is one of my quick and easy noodle soup recipes. It packs lots of flavour and warming goodness with minimal time and effort. Easy ingredients that you might already have in your cupboard, fridge and freezer. I use Satay Sauce for the soup base plus a pinch of stock cube to intensify the flavour.

Slow cooked Short Ribs with Black Bean Sauce
Black Bean Sauce is very commonly used in Chinese cooking to flavour meats or vegetable dishes. The plentiful of umami flavour makes it the most popular sauce being used in various cooking method such as, steaming, braising, stir-frying... Always use alongside with light and dark soy sauce. Try this in your next stir fry with 2 tsp light soy sauce, 1 tsp dark soy sauce, 2 tsp sesame oil. This combination completes a delicious Chinese flavour.
